I attended an event recently where the fellow exhibitors voted on all teh other exhibits and it worked really well. You can have as many categories as you like and you can vote for any car except your own. On each voting slip we had to enter our reg or exhibitor number to vote and then voted for the ...

At £450 this looks like really good buy - wish I had the space. I think this is the one that was at Bealieu Auto Jumble and the pictures really don't it justice - it is a great looking car<br>

Sandglow

I was never a big fan of Sandglow on Mini Clubmans, Allegros etc, but I eneded up with a Sandglow 1500HL in the late nineties - and it really grew on me - it suites the Dolomite very well I think - and shows of the slightly aggressive nose and distinctive lines very nicely. I don't knock Sandglow ...

And they tell us they don't have enough resources and enough personel which is why they didn't divert the traffic at all the slips on the A3 on Tuesday morning - which is why despite them reckoning on high traffoc because of Hampton Courta dn Woimbledon they were happy to allowa 13 mile stand still ...

We had a small classics section at Petworth Fete yesterday, at which we had a Dolomite 1300 and an early Toledo. I am the "nice chap with the brown 1500HL o/d" - thanks! Hopefully will be back on the road soon as it is currently getting a bottom half rust removal and repaint and has already had a new webasto outer skin fitted.<br>

The chap who sold it to me bought it in June (via ebay) from a seller in Guildford for his son as his first car. He did quite a bit of work on the mechanics to get the car up to a safe standard (brakes, steering, shocks, bushes etc) as well as general servicing, but his 17 year old son just didn't ...
