I saw the same thing in the catalogue and I think the Newtronic (nee Piranha) one is an Optical system whilst the Lumenition one is Magnatronic? Either way I have trawled the net as one does and they would seem to be quite easy to fit in an hour or so. Most people seem to say that Electronic ...

Lumenition Optronic for Sprint?
Does anyone know if Lumenition make an Optronic system for the Sprint. I see they do a Magnatronic system. Is this any good?

ebay again
Bought a spare off of Ebay last week £17.99 and also a complete rear bumper in good nick. I even managed to get my parents to collect it from Cornwall as they were nearby!<br>

Planning on sealing the "new" one prior to it being swapped when I have the boot floor welded next week.

Elbow Grease
Use plenty of elbow grease! Don't use an acidic wheel cleaner but there are some non-acidic ones out there. Try your local Vauxhall dealer of all places. Then when they're lovely and clean and dry use Autoglym Alloy Wheel Seal. I use it on my Sprint, Ford Focus and MG and it works a treat. What dust ...

filters
The filters must be about 6 inches diameter they're quite compact, got them from Rimmer's actually! Make a nice noise. Must have played for hours tuning the carbs and it's still not right. Balance is good now I've invested in a cabalancer instead of waving a bit of tube around but mixture seems to ...

needles
I have the similar set up to you (twin K+N's). The BBT needles allow for a richer mixture to compensate for the extra air the filters allow through. I suggest you take thier advice as I did and use the BBT needles. Just be sure to check your carb balance as you'd be amazed how that can affect the ...

lucky in that the car has had most of the work already done and done to a high standard it's just weird how the one sill wasn't done when the other £4k's worth of work was done. If I come accross a good place I'll post a message as I'm sure i'm not the only one looking for sill work!

Sill Work HELP!
Am looking to get some Sill work done on my Sprint. One side (OS) has already been done prior to be getting the car but now the NS needs doing. Looks as if the other side has a had a full sill put on. This is where the problem starts. Ideally I want to get a full sill done on the other side and I ...

Gaydon Triumph Day 30th May 2004
Anyone got any ideas or plans for the Standard Triumph Day at Gaydon Heritage Centre 30th May? Would be nice to have a gathering of Dolly's there.

I've got K+N's
Got K+N's on my Sprint along with different needles. Definately sounds better with the pancakes on it. Aid the freeflow exhaust and it helps the whole system breathe much better. Plus they look quite nice! In fairness my old air filter was a standard type and was filthy so maybe it was a bad ...
