Re: sprint throttle linkage
Ok chaps, found the culprit on madmarts site. Its the throttle linkage & mounting bracket, part number: 158929. You were right jonners, levers worn and flopping about, trapping the carb linkage at full throttle and holding it open. Anybody got a spare good'un, or know where i can get one?

Best plugs?
You really need NGK BP6EFS for the sprint, not BP7.

sprint throttle linkage
Anyone had probs with it? Changed my carb mounts, car running a lot better, but now i cant get full throttle cos the pedal seems to only go part way. Give it some stomp then it goes all the way then stays there, engine revving like mad. The throttle linkage at the carb seems to be a bit loose and is ...

Re: alloy mounts
Just found out Quiller do alloy mounts for sprint carbs. Phoned 'em and said i have 2" su's on mine, 'these are only for standard carbs' they said. Just as well, £96 squid for the pair <!--EZCODE EMOTICON END ...
