As mine is: work from the overdrive switch the cable goes down the centre of the gear stick shaft it then come out via a hole 3/4 of the way down the shaft then is just left loose to flop about, I wrapped some spider flex around it to protect it. It certainly does not go under the rubber ...

Got the sprint home yesterday and am now looking for any history , so I bought it here in Nth Lincolnshire where it's been since 1999 . Previous owner bought the car from Nottingham area ? Reg number XGK 976W Any help much appreciated .

Sprint Spark Plug Socket

Gang @ TDC

I have misplaced my spark plug socket - can anybody point me in the direction for a new one, especially with the size as there are four different sizes of plugs sockets on Ebay.

When in my 2.0 JTS I usually listen to the radio, something like Smooth or Jazz FM. When driving the 3.2 GTA I usually play rockier CDs

I agree with Ian, it is highly unlikely that part would need replacing. I believe it is a load spreader, effectively 6 washers in one. So long as the bolts have been correctly torqued for the life of the engine it will come to no harm.

I too thought it was a bit vague, but I think it was aimed at what happened over the weekend in the Lake district, Snowdonia, on the london tube and other places around the UK - peolpe gathering, give them an inch and the take a mile. If it continues then a total lock down will happen like in spain ...

Holey would have been a better word to use but - how did this vehicle get an valid MOT Cert to states it's safe and road worthy to drive on public roads or was it that when it became 40 yrs old its never had a test knowing full well that it would fail.
