After that they should be printed in a few minutes so just having a 3D printer does not mean that they can be made quickly. A common misconception in the non-3D community. I often get the 'you ...

Sorry for the late post but, thankyou to all the organisers. It wasn't far for us so that was a benefit.

Re: Triple Whammy Captain Black's Birthday, 50Years of the Dolomite Sprint 100 years of Triumph
The February date sounds like a great idea.
I would dearly love to get a picture of VA6 next to the last Sprint and this would be a rare opportunity.
There is a large Triumph/MG show at Silverstone in June. Is there any news on a Dolomite presence for that?

Just to confirm that FRW802L is alive and well and gets out of the garage regularly in the nicer months. She needed some paint to keep her beautiful but, apart from that, as I received her.

Engine hoist. Nothing wrong with it, thrown away because the company had bought a new one. Just fitted in the back of my Vauxhall Calibra.

Hi Reme5969,
PaulB wandered if you had got your power steering going yet?
We have installed ours but it is a way off testing yet.

Hi Guys,
VA6's body number is 67803WB. This makes the body older than VA1's but Triumph always were a bit random.

Re: 1973 Sprint BUILD DATES
Ok,
Paul and I spent a day at Gaydon going through the build records. No photos allowed but I scribbled down as many of the early sprints we could find.
The first actual Sprints were registered as Triumph Saloon and not Dolomite Sprint. (This has caused some confusion with insurance companies)

Apparently (from someone who knows) what you need to do is this.
The white ring is a ceramic seal and the impeller needs to be machined to insert and glue the ceramic seal.
The plastic bit is discarded, it is just there to hold the ceramic seal.
The spring loaded piece with a graphite ring goes in ...
